Social butterflies and online emo kids rejoice! MySpace have released MySpace mobile for Android. This nifty little application will allow you to do a whole bunch of stuff on your MySpace account, right from your shiney new T-Mobile G1.

  • send and recieve messages
  • search for friends
  • update your status
  • upload photos from your G1

Microsoft Exchange for Android! - Almost.

Phandroid reports that a new app, ContactsSync - is the first Android app to offer support for MS Exchange, although it’s more of a one way street - ContactsSync will update your phone’s contacts with those from your exchange server, but you aren’t able to beam your new phone contacts down the other way.

Sync your G1 with Outlook, Yahoo! Mail or AOL

One of the naysayers’ biggest gripes about the G1 upon it’s launch was it’s percieved monopolisation of email by gmail - in that google’s popular mail service was the only one supported natively.  As the presenters at the G1 launch so eloquently noted however, the Android platform it’s open nature allows developers to program pretty much any functionality in their apps, and as they suggested - it didn’t take long for someone to create what Funambol have come up with.
